We got the question if a website will perform better with or without WWW, if it is better for SEO and if the URL of the site should be changed. Our friends from WPBeginner.com published a short video explaining the details on this matter.
In summary, if your are a beginner and do not use subdomains, there is no difference in using the www or non-www. It comes down to what you prefer and how you want your visitors to see on their web address.
As for SEO, there is no difference whatsoever, however, you must be consistent on keeping the name. In Google Webmaster’s tools you can select your preference under “Site Settings”.
